i was looking through some pictures on my computer and found an early version of fences. this painting is a good example of how much a painting can change as it goes along.
this early beginning(the brown at the bottom and the black are just paper taped on for composition help)

did you shrink those houses or is that an optical illusion?

i used my shrinking gun. and i painted over the bigger ones.
at one point after i put in the leetle houses, i decided i put in too many, so i painted some of those out too.
